Registered Acupuncturist
From a young age, Ryan had a keen interest in health and fitness, which lead to the pursuit of a career helping others obtain a happier, healthier quality of life. He moved to Edmonton from small town Peace River to attend MacEwan University where, after studying sciences for two years, he successfully completed the three-year Acupuncture program.
He strongly believes in the Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine system of healing designed to provide complete, holistic care. His focus when treating an individual is addressing the issue in its entirety – getting to the root of the problem, along with managing pain and other symptoms, is the key to rapidly achieving the desired results and goals of the patient.
Ryan has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. One of his greatest joys is seeing the excitement and happiness in a patient when they can get back to what they enjoy in life with minimal to no pain and optimal health.
He is continuously seeking out new techniques and education in order to refine his ability to treat and help patients achieve their desired state of health, both physical and mental, as quickly as possible.
Ryan also completed his Certified Sports Medicine Acupuncture certification in San Diego in Spring 2024, giving him a very in depth and specific knowledge base for orthopaedics, performance and injury management.
Ryan’s areas of interest include:
- Muscular Injuries
- Sports Injuries
- Acute and Chronic Pain
